The burning questions that many of us face in these present times, and the cosmetic surgery industry is no different, in fact this industry is embracing technological advancements just as it has always done with innovation. The potential for enhanced patient outcomes seems to be at the forefront of AI’s future in cosmetic surgery. But does this potential come laced with something that could put us on a trajectory of no return? Something to consider as you read on.

The Cosmetic Surgery industry is yet not 100% regulated globally and this leaves doors wide open for unethical practitioners/surgeons and practices from clinics world wide that have been the cause of some nasty and fatal complications in their patients.
This is happening all too often as patients look for cheaper options, often abroad, and get exploited. But this where more stringent laws need to come into play where regulations are adhered to irrespective of where the procedure is being performed. This calls for a global collaboration on a scale that has not been previously rolled out in any capacity. Could it be that individual factors of greed, glamour, fame and incessant competition plague this industry when instead everyone can form a circle of collaborative values that advance the industry, everyone’s businesses and ultimately benefit the patients who place trust in them?
