Plasma Blast Treatment Overview
Plasma blast treatment is a modern skincare technique that helps rejuvenate the skin by tightening loose areas and reducing wrinkles. It’s particularly effective around sensitive areas like the eyelids, under the eyes, and near the mouth. The procedure involves a device that emits plasma energy, creating tiny burns that shrink the skin and boost collagen production, the protein that keeps skin firm and youthful. One of the biggest benefits is that it doesn’t involve surgery, so there are no incisions and it requires less downtime, allowing you to get back to normal activities quickly. The results can be seen soon after the treatment and are known to last for years, making it a cost-effective alternative to more invasive procedures. Plasma blast treatment is a precise method that targets only the problem areas, preserving the health and appearance of the surrounding skin. This treatment is ideal for those looking for effective anti-aging solutions without the risks and recovery time associated with surgery.
Plasma Blast Treatment Results
Plasma blast treatment delivers noticeable results that include tighter, smoother skin and a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. After the treatment, areas prone to sagging, like the eyelids and around the mouth, appear firmer and more lifted. The procedure stimulates collagen production, which helps rejuvenate the skin over time, making it look healthier and more youthful. The initial results can be seen almost immediately, but the full effects become more visible as the skin heals over the next few weeks. These improvements can last for years, depending on how your skin ages and your lifestyle choices. The precision of the treatment allows for targeted improvements, making it effective for correcting specific problem areas without affecting the surrounding skin. Plasma blast is a popular choice for those who want a less invasive alternative to surgery with a relatively quick recovery and long-lasting results.
Duration of the treatment
The plasma blast treatment itself is quite quick, typically taking about 30 to 60 minutes per session, depending on the area being treated. The number of sessions needed can vary based on the individual’s skin condition and the desired results. Most people see significant improvements with just one or two treatments. The recovery period is relatively short, with the skin healing within about a week, although some redness and swelling might last a bit longer. During the healing process, it’s crucial to follow care instructions to ensure the best results. Overall, plasma blast offers a swift treatment option with a manageable recovery time, making it convenient for those with busy lifestyles.
Who is best suited for plasma blast treatment
Plasma blast treatment is best suited for individuals looking to address mild to moderate skin laxity, fine lines, and wrinkles without undergoing surgery. It’s particularly effective for those areas around the eyes, lips, and neck where skin tends to sag and wrinkle. This treatment is ideal for people who have specific concerns about these areas and are seeking noticeable improvements with minimal downtime. It’s also a good option for those who prefer a less invasive procedure that still offers long-lasting results. However, plasma blast treatment is not suitable for everyone; it may not be recommended for those with very sensitive skin, severe skin conditions, or certain medical histories. It’s important for anyone considering this treatment to consult with a skincare professional to ensure it’s a safe and effective option for their skin type and health condition.
Aftercare
After the procedure, ensure the treated area remains clean, and avoid using makeup for at least 24 hours. Mild redness, scabbing, or dryness is common and usually resolves within 5-7 days. Do not pick at scabs, as this can lead to scarring. Protect your skin from direct sun exposure, and use sunscreen with a high SPF (50+) during the healing process. Avoid heat treatments and exfoliating products for at least a week.

FAQ’s
How does Plasma Blast Treatment work?
Treatment Is delivered using an electronic hand-piece, the plasma pen. This precision device is fitted with an applicator tip (Metal probe) Which enables the transfer of energy to the skin by utilising the voltage in the air between the device tip and skin to generate a plasma charge. The Transfer of energy to the skin takes place only when the applicator tip has approximately 0.5mm to the skin, which means it does not come into direct contact with the skin. The Visible result of the treatment is a thermal skin Reaction, the so-called plasma points. The results following the treatment is significantly tightening to the skin without damage to the deeper skin or muscle.
How many Treatments will I need?
In most cases only 1 treatment is required. However depending on area of face or body being treated and individual conditions a further 1 or 2 treatments may be required (This will be discussed during your consultation). Additional treatments can be safely done at 6 to 8 week intervals after initial procedure.
